Breeding
Breeding and housing of mice are performed either at iTL and Stony Brook University’s joint specific pathogen free (SPF) mouse facility or in collaboration with Charles River Laboratory’s SPF facility and virus antibody free (VAF+) animals. iTL has relevant national and international accreditations to house and export animals and our SPF status conform to the requirements of major national and international research institutes and companies.
Our breeding services for your mice save you time, space and can simplify all aspects of managing your mouse model colonies. iTL breeds, maintains, and ships your custom model(s) to you to meet your needs.
iTL Delivers additional breeding services after the generation of your custom mouse model
- Maintaining custom model stock
- Generation of homozygous lines
- Cryopreservation and rederivation
