Cryopreservation
Embryo freezing protects against the loss of valuable, unique mouse lines through breeding failure or disease while also eliminating the cost of maintaining mouse lines not actively in use. The process enables the collection and freezing of fertilized mouse eggs. Each package includes the cryopreservation of approximately 200 embryos. Heterozygous males are mated with wild type females as embryo donors.
