What You Need
Mouse Husbandry
The care, breeding and health monitoring of our clients’ mouse models is of paramount importance to iTL. We cultivate and maintain high quality mouse husbandry facility relationships to ensure the proper handling and seamless transition of your specialized models to your own animal facilities. Our experience and care allow you to focus on your research without worrying about the integrity of your models.
Our clients have varying needs when it comes to the animal husbandry of their mouse models. To fully serve the complete range of your needs, iTL has established strong relationships with two expert mouse husbandry facilities. Your chimeras are mated to obtain F1 heterozygous germline mice either at iTL and Stony Brook University’s joint specific pathogen free (SPF) mouse facility or in collaboration with Charles River Laboratory’s SPF facility and virus antibody free (VAF+) animals.
