Mouse Genome Informatics List (mgi-l) The mgi list is an e-mail discussion forum offered by Jackson Laboratory. It serves those with a specialized interest in mouse genetics. Mouse Genome Informatics (MGI) offers information on mouse genetic markers, molecular segments, phenotypes, comparative mapping data, experimental mapping data, and geographical displays for genetic, physical, and cytogenetic maps.
International Society for Transgenic Technologies (ISTT) The ISTT is an international society dedicated to the education about, sharing and advancement of Transgenic technology.


Cre Resources
Gene Expression Nervous System Atlas This site is useful in identifying Cre driver lines that will target selected neuronal or glial populations in the brain and spinal cord.
MouseCre This is a CreERT2 database from the Institut Clinique de la Souris (ICS).
CRE-X-Mice This is a database, maintained by Dr. Nagy's laboratory at Mount Sinai Hospital, of Cre transgenic mouse lines.
CRE database at MGI-JAX This is a link to the Cre database at Jackson Lab's MGI site. ENCODE (ENCyclopedia Of DNA Elements) The goal of this international database is to map functional elements within the human genome to the biological functions they regulate.
German Mouse Clinic Offers standardized phenotypic screens with over 550 parameters for a variety of disciplines. The mouse phenotyping service is provided at no charge but in turn all findings and results are jointly owned by the researcher and the GMC with the goal to provide an open access platform for the scientific community.
International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium An international collaboration between centers in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia; aimed at offering an exhaustive list of phenotyping screens to enrich individually produced datasets, and generating a central, publicly accessible database of gene-associated phenotypes.
Jackson Labs Mice Database Query Comprehensive query form to aid in identifying existing mice by research field, new models for distribution, and strains just released from development.
The Mouse Phenome Database The database is a standardized collection of protocols and reference data from an international collaboration of scientists. It can be used, to find phenotypic measurements for specific strains, to find strains that meet specific phenotypic criteria, or to explore phenotype/genotype correlations.
