  • Protein Production Scientist

    ingenious targeting laboratory is searching for a talented and highly motivated Protein Production Scientist to join our team.


    The candidate’s primary responsibilities/duties will include:

    • Working with a small group of scientists to develop methods to express and generate proteins in eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells
    • Isolation and purification of expressed proteins
    • Testing and confirming expressed proteins by assays and gels
    • Able to carry out troubleshooting independently and handle multiple systems simultaneously
    • Working independently and as a team player to interpret and present data both verbally and in written formats to team and clients
    • To be self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast moving work environment requiring time sensitive delivery of results
    • Will not be trained on the job; expected to be knowledgeable and skilled in the area


    • PhD with 0-2 years experience or Master’s degree with 2-5 or more years of relevant experience (2 yr. minimum)
    • Experience in protein expression and purification in eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells
    • Experience with small Fermenter or Bioreactor is preferred
    • Excellent organizational and communications skills
