- Production Associate I - Tissue Culture
inGenious Targeting Laboratory, Inc., a leader in producing genetically-engineered mouse models for medical research is seeking a full-time production associate for our tissue culture department.
On the job training. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills and work well independently, as well as part of a team. Must be able to work on weekends, holidays, and off-hours. This position requires a minimum of a two year commitment.
The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following tasks:
- Understand importance of sterile techniques to minimize contamination
- Perform electroporations, colony picking, freezing/transfer of cells, DNA extraction, etc
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Accurate record keeping
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to organize and prioritize workflow
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
An Associate or Bachelor Degree in the Sciences is preferred. Laboratory experience is a plus. Weekend work is required.
