About Prokr2 Mouse Model Types

A Prokr2 knockout mouse has the Prokr2 gene permanently inactivated, enabling loss of function studies. A Prokr2 conditional knockout (floxed) mouse carries loxP sites flanking a critical exon of Prokr2, allowing Cre recombinase dependent deletion in specific tissues or at specific timepoints.
